RE:

Selection of a councilmember to serve on the Community Development Advisory Board.

At the Regular Meeting held on June 18, 2020, City Council adopted an Ordinance amending the bylaws of the Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) contained within Chapter 52, entitled Boards, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Palm Bay, to include the requirement by House Bill 1339 which specifies that the Advisory Board must consist of one locally elected official, effective October 1, 2020.

 

City Council must vote on and appoint one member of Council to serve on the CDAB.

There is no fiscal impact.


RECOMMENDATION:

Request for 

consideration by Council to appoint one Councilmember to serve on the Community Development Advisory Board.
